Overview
Muse is a browser extension for inspecting and editing the appearance of web pages. We designed it to work locally in your browser and to collect as little information as possible.
Information Muse accesses
When you activate Muse on a page, the extension reads the page structure and styles needed to power its inspection and editing tools. The color picker temporarily captures the visible tab so you can sample a pixel. This access is used only on your device to provide the features you request.
Information we collect
Muse does not collect, transmit or sell personal information, browsing history, page content, screenshots, edits, comments or generated prompts. That work stays in your browser unless you choose to copy or share it.
Third-party services
Websites you visit and services where you paste Muse-generated prompts have their own privacy practices. This policy does not cover those third parties.
Data retention and security
Your Muse preferences are stored with Chrome's synced extension storage and may follow you to browsers signed in to your Google account. You can remove them by clearing the extension's data or uninstalling Muse.
